Welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School website, designed to provide you with a range of essential information and a glimpse of what life is like at our wonderful school.

The children at St Mary’s are at the heart of everything that we do. The whole staff team are fully committed to ensuring that each child feels loved, safe, happy, secure and ready to learn. We are committed to providing them with both high academic expectation and achievement along with social, moral, spiritual and cultural development. Children at St Mary’s are here to become excellent learners and to grow into excellent individuals. We believe they deserve our unreserved effort to unlock their true unique qualities, so they feel empowered and fully prepared to succeed in the next stage of their education and beyond.

Our Values

Our vision for St. Mary’s Catholic Primary is to provide the community we serve with a truly outstanding school, consistently providing the highest quality of teaching and support for every individual child.

Our learning community is based on the Gospel values of love, tolerance and forgiveness where the achievements of all are celebrated. We want our pupils to be creative, inquisitive, compassionate and successful, through a curriculum that is rich, exciting, innovative and varied. Our pupils will excel across the curriculum – in the arts and in sports, whilst achieving the very highest academic standards possible.

Letters

We send out letters and newsletters on a regular basis to keep parents up to date with school decisions and progress.

At St Mary's, we keep our parents, carers and families informed about upcoming events and celebrations of our children's successes. We regularly publish a newsletter, which is sent out electronically to all of our parents and is made available on this page. We also use Social media to share the very latest events, learning and religious celebrations that take place within our school.
