Different Together: Inspiring Diversity Session with PCSO Claire

A post in our latest news section.

Year 5 and 6 took part in a fantastic workshop led by PCSO Claire, focusing on the importance of celebrating diversity. The children explored how our world is made up of many different people, each with their own unique appearances, cultures and beliefs — and how these differences make our communities stronger.

During the session, we discussed key topics such as equality, discrimination, hate crime, respect and love. The children shared thoughtful ideas about how we can celebrate everyone in our wonderful world and ensure that everyone feels valued.

To round off an inspiring afternoon, the pupils were delighted to meet Ben, a gentle and friendly Labrador who quickly became a firm favourite!

It was a truly brilliant experience for everyone involved.
