Wraparound Care

Wrap-around care and after school club information about our school.

We are delighted to work in partnership with AE Sports Coaching, who have been providing high-quality wraparound care at St Mary’s since September 2025.


AE Sports Coaching has over seven years’ experience delivering PE lessons, after-school clubs and holiday camps across County Durham, Sunderland and Consett. Many families will already be familiar with their excellent work in school and through their popular holiday provision.

For the past four years, AE has also successfully delivered breakfast and after-school care, offering a safe, engaging and supportive environment for children.

All AE coaches are:

  • Enhanced DBS checked
  • Emergency Paediatric First Aid trained
  • Safeguarding trained
  • Trained in school behaviour policy
  • Food hygiene and allergy trained

Breakfast Club

Time: 7:45am – 8:45am
Cost: £4.50 per session

Breakfast Club is led by Mr Kent (Lead Coach), supported by Mrs O’Brien (lunchtime supervisor) and Mrs Lishman (school cook).

Children can enjoy a healthy start to the day with a choice of:

  • Cereal
  • Yoghurt
  • Toast
  • Pancakes

  • Payment required at time of booking
  • Childcare vouchers accepted

After-School Club

Time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Pricing:

  • 3:30pm – 4:30pm: £4.50
  • 3:30pm – 5:30pm: £6.50

A light snack is provided during sessions (please include allergy information when booking).

Late collection fee: £10 per child after 5:30pm
