Our pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic skipping workshop, kindly funded by the Friends of St Mary’s. A specialist skipping coach, Gail, spent the day in school teaching the children a range of exciting skipping skills—and it’s safe to say they absolutely loved it!

The day was filled with energy, enthusiasm and lots of smiles as pupils across every class took part and developed their coordination, fitness and confidence.

Gail was incredibly impressed with our children and asked us to pass on her special feedback to the Headteacher. She shared that, having worked in many schools, St Mary’s truly stood out. She described the children’s behaviour as outstanding, praising their excellent manners, attentive listening, and the respect they showed towards one another.

She said we should be extremely proud of every single child—and we certainly are!
