Year 5 Bring Shakespeare to Life in Inspiring Coram Workshop

A post in our latest news section.

Our Year 5 children had an amazing experience during the Coram Foundation Shakespeare workshop this week. They loved kicking things off with animal snap and throwing themselves into pretending to be different creatures, before using the emoji game to explore and express a wide range of emotions. They then moved on to rehearsing The Tempest, offering fantastic ideas about how we could adapt and improve their performance. Although Shakespearean language can be challenging, the children listened carefully to one another, discussing the characters’ motivations and emotions to deepen their understanding of the play.

A massive thank you to Rowena for her brilliant guidance—we can’t wait to welcome her back in February as we prepare for our performance in March!
