We are excited to be taking part in Walk to School Week, a UK-wide initiative running from 18th to 22nd May. This event encourages children to improve their physical health and fitness, support their mental wellbeing, learn about road safety, and understand the importance of caring for our environment. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to bring our school community together.

As part of our Live Simply Award, we are inviting all families to take part where possible. We appreciate that walking the full journey to school is not always practical; however, if you live within walking distance, or are able to park a little further away and walk part of the route, your support would be greatly valued.

Throughout the week, pupils will also be taking part in a range of in-school activities linked to Walk to School Week.
