Celebrating Our Inclusive Approach

A post in our latest news section.

We’re are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and supported to achieve their full potential.

We were recently delighted to receive positive feedback from an external specialist who visits many schools on a daily basis. Reflecting on the culture within the school, they commented:

The ethos within your school around supporting children with SEND and the emphasis you place on building positive relationships and helping children feel safe, valued and understood is evident in everything you do.

They also described the school as “nurturing and inclusive” and praised the positive impact of the support provided by staff.

We were equally pleased to receive positive feedback from a parent following our recent SEND Coffee Morning and Transition Session:

It’s clear the school is proactively engaging parents and promoting life skills and available support within the County for the benefit of our children. Very positive to see parents engaged. Overall, excellent.

We know that supporting children with SEND is an ongoing journey and that there is always more we can do. However, it is encouraging to see our commitment to inclusion, partnership with families and nurturing relationships recognised by both professionals and parents.

We are incredibly proud of our staff team and remain committed to continually developing our provision to ensure every child feels understood, supported and able to thrive.
