At St Mary’s, we are incredibly proud to have so many children with such a range of talents!

With this in mind, we will be hosting a ‘Children’s Enterprise Fair’; somewhere they can showcase their talents and begin to see how this can earn them money. The event is designed solely for St. Mary’s pupils to sell their own items- items they make- not items they own.

Perhaps your child makes friendship bracelets, draws amazing pictures, builds models, makes creative greetings cards, the possibilities are endless!

Children will set up a little stall after school to sell their wares. Every penny they earn is theirs to keep.

To give the children plenty of time to prepare their special items, we are proposing to hold this near the end of the spring term.

In the meantime, it is up to the children to get planning and designing; budgeting and pricing. We’d love to see posters and banners that decorate their stall, as well as the all-important goodies themselves.

At the moment, all we ask is that you contact Miss Bell via email (jbell@smb.bwcet.com) with your child’s name, class and type of item they would like to sell, so that we can begin to make plans. Taking part is completely optional. Not every child enjoys creating things, they all have their individual talents. However, they will all get the chance to visit and buy from the stalls, should they wish to do so.
